About the Kids These Days Campaign
The world has changed. From social media's impact to the disruption caused by the global pandemic, the struggles kids are facing are very different from what they used to be. As Canada's Capital Region continues to change, grow, and become more diverse, kids these days also need pediatric care that can evolve to serve what they need: accessible and innovative health care solutions when they need them most.
Over the next 10 years, CHEO will remodel, transform, and build to adapt to the growing and increasingly complex needs of children and youth. CHEO also has a strategic commitment to reduce the number of children waiting for services beyond what is clinically recommended. To do so, CHEO Foundation has launched a $220 million fundraising campaign to transform pediatric care.
About the CHEO Foundation
The CHEO Foundation is the philanthropic arm of CHEO, the CHEO Research Institute, and, a world-leading institution in pediatric care, research and compassionate end-of-life support. For 50 years, the CHEO Foundation has served as the link between these respected institutions and the generous community that supports them financially.
The CHEO Foundation team is inspired by donors and partners who invest in world-class pediatric health care, leading-edge research, and essential services, ensuring children and youth can live life to the fullest. We proudly put the best interests of children at the centre of every decision, working with intention, accountability, and care. We grow by learning from experience, taking care of ourselves and one another, championing equity, diversity, and inclusion, and celebrating our successes together as one team.
At the heart of the OG Classique is community — and that's why we're proud to partner with CHEO. Through this partnership, all fundraising efforts will support CHEO and the families they care for, with a meaningful, visible presence at the event that reminds us why riding together matters.
